Airport tours are offered at the Erie International Airport, Tom Ridge Field. Federal regulations restrict access past airport security checkpoints to ERI employees and ticketed passengers.
ERI provides free guided tours to schools, scout groups, summer camps, or other organized groups wanting to explore the airport. Because the airport is constantly changing, we cannot guarantee what you will see on a tour. Typically, areas visited and topics covered in a tour will include the airport terminal including the ticket wing and baggage claim, the Airport Police office, the security checkpoint/boarding, the Airfield Operations Building, Aircraft Rescue Fire Fighting, and the Airport’s K9. Due to security and operational limitations, we cannot access areas operated by airport tenants.
Tours are offered by appointment between 10 AM and 1:30 PM on Tuesdays and Thursdays only. Tours are specific to school age children (5 years and older) with a maximum of 30 people (excluding chaperones).
Thank you for your interest in the Erie International Airport, Tom Ridge Field! We look forward to sharing the airport experience with you!
